I had been longing to visit Sete Cidades for a while, so I chose Lake Lodge for its convenient location. However, the complimentary wireless Internet access surprised me and allowed me to stay connected. The kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, and separate dining area was also impressive. It made preparing meals a breeze and added to the convenience of my stay.
Remote location, limited dining options.

With numerous hiking trails to explore, the picturesque lake for a refreshing swim, and the option to rent bicycles for a fun cycling tour, there was never a dull moment. The lodge itself offered cozy and well-equipped bungalows, complete with a kitchen that allowed us to prepare delicious meals together. The highlight of our evenings was gathering around the real fireplace, creating a romantic and warm atmosphere, perfect for quality family time.
For dads, it would be great to have more outdoor activities suitable for children, such as a playground or organized games.

The bungalows at Sete Cidades Lake Lodge were absolutely amazing! The open-plan living/dining room with a kitchenette made me feel right at home. The cabins were surrounded by lush vegetation, giving them a beautiful and serene atmosphere. I loved the fact that the rooms were soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful and quiet stay.
Personally, I found the hair dryers provided in the rooms to be a bit outdated.

I enjoyed being surrounded by nature and taking in the views from the terrace and garden. The cabin was spacious and I appreciated having laundry facilities. Just a shame there were no shops or reception.
Such a pity that there were no coffee pads for my stay. Who needs caffeine anyway?

We had a blast hiking on the amazing trails and exploring the stunning nature around the lake. The cycling tour was so much fun, and we even went for a refreshing swim in the lake. The cable programming in the house kept us entertained, and the fast internet allowed us to surf the web. It was the perfect vacation for thrill-seeking teenagers like us!
The only thing we would have loved to see at Sete Cidades Lake Lodge is a vibrant nightlife scene. As young party-goers, we wished there was a place nearby where we could dance the night away and have a wild time.

Our family had a truly unforgettable stay at this stylish cabin nestled in the stunning caldera of Sete Cidades. The bungalow's elegant decor and large windows provided breathtaking views of the surrounding trees, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. We loved exploring the beautiful garden landscaping and had a warm welcome from the host, who surprised us with a delicious hamper. From hiking the numerous trails and cycling tours to swimming in the crystal-clear lake, there was never a dull moment. Each morning, we enjoyed picking up fresh bread from the local bakery. Our stay here was absolute perfection for our adventurous family!
My children wanted some mosquito screens on the windows for extra protection.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations with its comfortable and spacious layout, perfect even for our family of three with an added campbed. The welcome pack was incredibly generous and the provision of cooking basics was a huge help in allowing us to prepare our own meals. Despite not being physically present, the host was easily reachable and even arranged a taxi for us. The availability of mountain bikes was a fantastic bonus, although unfortunately we didn't have time to use the kayak. The location near the lake, with parking available, was superb, and the lodge itself was jaw-droppingly beautiful with its attention to detail and high-quality materials. The view of Lagoa Azul from the backyard was absolutely stunning, and the host's thoughtfulness in providing local food and wine made our stay even more memorable. We also appreciated the option to rent bikes and kayaks, allowing us to fully explore the area. The host's friendly and helpful nature added to the overall positive experience, and the lodge, nestled among flowers and trees, was a hidden gem.
